Carrie Schafer is currently 3rd/Utility Trumpet in the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. Prior to joining the SLSO, Ms. Schafer was a Fellow with the New World Symphony. Ms. Schafer received a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University, where she studied with Barbara Butler, and an Artist Diploma from the Colburn School, where she studied with Jim Wilt.
