Ran Kampel
Clarinet

Israeli born clarinetist Ran Kampelis a second-year Clarinet Fellow at the New World Symphony, while also performing with the New West Symphony in LA. He held the position of Interim Principal Clarinet with the Grand Rapids Symphony for its 2013-14 season and also played with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been a top prize winner of several international competitions and featured on radio and TV stations in Germany, Israel and across the U.S. Mr. Kampel was featured in performances at the residence of the President of Israel, the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Festival Mozaic and Sunset Chamberfest. During the summers, he has performed at Salzburger Festspiele, Schleswig-Holstein, Tanglewood, Yellow Barn, Lakes Area, Aspen, Norfolk, Colorado College and Sarasota music festivals.
